What are the most romantic things to do in Naples? This beautiful Florida beach town has a lot to offer to couples who’d like to spend romantic time together.

Go to the Beach

You can find many great activities at the beach, including the obvious swimming and sunbathing. But you can also have a relaxing picnic, go for a walk, collect shells and even play a fun game of frisbee. Don’t forget to take time out for a romantic kiss along the way. You will need to plan at least one beach walk at sunset. One of the most romantic things to do in Naples, is to see a sunset at the beach. The beaches here have a reputation for delivering the most beautiful sunsets. Locals even have a custom of gathering together at Naples Pier to watch the sunset together. You’ll want to keep some memories of your trip, so take plenty of photographs or even a video or two.

A Little Nightlife

If you prefer to spend your vacation time in the city taking in the exciting nightlife, you will find many choices in Naples. Enjoy a meal together at one of Naples’ gourmet restaurants, and you won’t have to spend a fortune. Can’t decide on where to go? Try Bistro 821, Bamboo Cafe, Naples Tomato or Sea Salt over on Third Street South. If you prefer to dine on the beach, go to Baleen Naples at the LaPlaya Resort. They have tables right out on the sand.

You don’t even have to eat out, if you prefer to have a more private bit of nightlife for yourself. Hotels and resorts will have excellent room service and you can just stay in and still have a gourmet meal. When you don’t have time for a sit-down dinner, stop at Wynn’s Market Deli or the Whole Foods Market for a lovely bit of take-out.

After dinner, you can go to a movie or visit one of the many wine bars and pubs around the city. There are lots of romantic things to do in Naples after dark.

Enjoying Some Nature

There are several ways you can get outside the city and see some of the natural surrounds of Naples. You can get a dinner cruise with the Naples Princess, or charter a day trip to Key West if you enjoy being out on the water. Staying on land, there are nature preserves like the Corkscrew Swamp to visit with your partner.

Relaxing and Pampering

For something a little quieter, a spa day for two is actually a very popular activity. Get a massage together or split up for some private time. Either way, you’ll be more relaxed when you’re done. Resorts with hot-tubs and jacuzzis should be on your list of places to go, to have a nice romantic soak while enjoying a cold drink.

That’s Not All

If you plan ahead a little, you can also take in a performance at the Naples Philharmonic Center for the Arts, or get a little rustic with some outdoor camping. These are both activities you will need to book ahead for, so don’t leave them to the last minute.

When it comes to finding romantic things to do in Naples, it really doesn’t matter exactly what you are doing. Holding hands and sneaking in a kiss or two can make any activity more romantic, and an unexpected gift for your partner is always a nice touch. Don’t let yourself get too caught up in what he wants to do versus what she wants to do. Find things to do that you will both enjoy and you will both have a lot more fun together.
